How prevalent are social media platforms in today’s society?

It is no surprise that these platforms are used by businesses to promote their services and products to wider audiences while also staying more connected and engaged with customers. Businesses can interact directly with their customers, build relationships, improve customer service and brand awareness_all conveniently through social media platforms.

Beyond businesses, governments around the globe are also using social media platforms to reach citizens real time and gain valuable insight into public opinion on various subjects of importance. They can communicate new policies rollout or inform citizens about potential hazards post natural calamities like hurricanes or floods- thus utilizing the platform to be more interactive with society as well as effective in crisis response management.
